Piggy Journal: Deserted Island Day 1

Well, the plane that was supposed to take me to safety ended up crashing…and this is where it landed. Yeah it looks nice and all, but there are no grownups! I don’t know what to do without my auntie! She’s probably worrying about me. Well actually she probably thinks the plane arrived safely where it was suppose to go. Oh! This is just not good! This island is filled with creeper things and them fruit! Them fruit… they’re delicious but a huge regret later. Luckily I met a really cool kid named Ralph. He’s got fair hair and he’s pretty tall. I guess his dad is in the navy, which is super cool. My daddy and mum are dead… but I don’t really want to talk about that. Anyway, ever since then my auntie has been taking care of me. She’s awesome! She owns this candy store and I get tons of candy anytime I want some. She’s always getting on me about my asthma though. I’m not supposed to swim or run. I guess you can say that I’m not the skinniest kid. I shared my secret with Ralph about how the kids at school call me… piggy. Ralph isn’t much of a talker so he hasn’t really asked what my real name is, so I guess he’ll just stick with piggy. Ralph is pretty certain that his dad will come and rescue us. I’m just not too sure about that. How will people even know that we’re on this island? The rest of the kids just keep listening to him though. I guess I would listen to Ralph to though…he’s the coolest guy I’ve ever met. I just wish that he wouldn’t let the other boys pick on me so much. This kid named Jack keeps telling me to shut up every time I talk! I’m worried that Jack will make Ralph not like me anymore. Ralph keeps listening to Jack's ideas and not mine. They’ve got it all wrong though! We should be getting organized and taking names and building tents, but no instead everyone goes chaotic trying to build a fire! This was Ralph’s idea. Maybe soon he’ll realize that my ideas are better than Jack’s.
